Symptoms of exposure include: nausea, headache, sweating, increased heart rate, respiratory distress, or death.

Storage

Keep tightly sealed in the original HDPE or amber glass container.

Store at refrigerated or frozen temperatures (recommended –20°C) away from light and heat.

Ensure containers are air-tight and nitrogen-purged, where applicable, to prevent oxidation.

Must be stored in a secured chemical storage area, away from food, fire, and direct sunlight.

Safety

Use only in professional lab or manufacturing environments.

Protective gear required:

• Nitrile gloves
• Full-sleeve lab coat
• Safety goggles or face shield

Fume hood or mask (if mist or vapor may form)

Do not eat, drink, or smoke when handling.

First Aid:

• Skin contact: Wash with soap and water for 15–20 minutes; remove contaminated clothing.
• Eye contact: Rinse with clean water for at least 15 minutes; seek medical help.
• Inhalation: Move to fresh air, monitor breathing; call emergency services immediately.
• Ingestion: Rinse mouth, do not induce vomiting; seek emergency medical help and show SDS.

Disposal

Must be handled as hazardous chemical waste.

Dispose through authorized chemical waste handlers only.

Do not pour into drain, sewer, or soil.

Rinse containers (if allowed by regulation) and destroy in accordance with local hazardous disposal laws.
