Storage

Store in a locked, cool, well‑ventilated area, ideally in a freezer (does not fully freeze but may become viscous) to reduce oxidation. Heat, light, and oxygen should be strictly avoided

Keep in nitrogen‑purged, foil‑sealed amber HDPE bottles, tightly closed.

Clearly separate from incompatible chemicals and foodstuff.

Safety

Access must be restricted—not for use by children, pets, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, or persons with cardiac, respiratory, psychiatric, or metabolic conditions

PPE mandatory: nitrile gloves, protective clothing, eyeshields or safety goggles, and face protection.

Avoid inhalation; use in well‑ventilated fume‑hood or laboratory setting.

Immediate first aid:

• Skin contact: rinse thoroughly with soap and water for ≥15 minutes.
• Eye contact: flush with water ≥15 minutes and seek medical attention.
• Ingestion or inhalation: do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth, administer water, and call emergency/poison center immediately, showing SDS to the physician

No eating, drinking, or smoking when handling. Maintain hygiene and wash hands after use.

Disposal

Empty container and any residual material must be treated as hazardous waste.

Disposal should comply with local environmental and chemical waste regulations. Use licensed chemical disposal services—do not pour down drains or soil
